That Now

When the glass is empty:

Ice melted,

Leaving only a wet ring:

A perfect circle,

A watermark of discord;

When the path is blocked:

Hope gone,

Exhausting opportunity,

Dreams faded:

That’s when evil comes;

“What else can we do?”

A question:

A trap set so simply,

Over and over again,

Hoping we fail to see;

When lies are the choice:

Made time after time,

A drama of losings:

Each worse than the last:

An orchard of rotten fruit;

An eternal Love of Always:

Possibility,

A Hand that Writes & Heals:

A Love of Perfect choices —

Offers a better Deal…

👁

When Now is here forever,

When Truth can finally reign,

The time of choosing ended,

Nothing left to seek —

That When:

The only One that matters.
