Blank faces when they tell you lies. They don’t know what to say because you exposed them to the truth.

Silence is written on their face, and they can’t speak anymore because they’re exposed. The corporate workplace is an emotional minefield, and their pride is in thinking they know everything. Their arrogance makes them feel their job is secure.

It was not me, but you who dropped the ball. We are too busy to check our work. There is no time to do it right the first time, but there is plenty of time to go back and fix it.

If its wrong, it’s not my fault, it was you. I’m essential; the company needs me. I think I know what I’m doing, and If I’m wrong I won’t admit it, I have too much riding on looking like the go-to person. He did it; he is the one who messes up, not me.

When the truth is revealed, the lies can not hide; then nothing but blank faces and silence fills the conference room.
