cool cool cool

so this is it. the moment when i finally make a blog. start writing. so i guess this is that first post… when you explain who you are. what you like. what you don’t like. basically what the hell to expect.

i’m a fan of art. a fan of good food, of not showing my face in pics (#sorrynotsorry), of hashtags, of dad jokes, of dogs, of deep conversations, of activism, of kick ass activists that i want to be when i grow up, of chai lattes on a rainy day, of rainy days in general, of brooklyn nine nine, of autumn and the leaves turning, of individualism, of intersectional (!!!!!!!!!!) feminism, of obama, of travel, of life, of the universe, of discovering divinity, of chocolate chip cookies, of recycling… you get the point. i’m a fan of a lot of things. i freaking love this freaking planet and of freaking being able to walk around and breathe fresh air and go to open air markets and ohmygawd i’m making another “love” list.

this is a place of discussion. a place of discovery. a place of my thoughts. if you read this, great! if you don’t jive with it, also great! i hope you find all the happiness the universe has to offer you dude!

i might get real sometimes. i might talk about some personal things and about how i live my life after faith transitions, and other parts of life… but you know… also going to talk about my favorite recipes and my favorite books because as we have established: ya girl gotta a lot of those.

so that’s me. more of a sneak peak, but i am smiling writing this. i’m excited. i am pumpeddddd.
